What is Legalization?

 

 

If the documents is to be used in a country which is not party to the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961,it should be presented to the consular section of the mission representing that county. In other words a Power of Attorney issued by a Chinese company, if will use for UK, then must legalization by the British Embassy in China.

 

 

If a Power of Attorney issued by a UK company, Which is just need be Apostilled in the UK ,it can be used in USA.If use for China,must Legalization in Chinese embassy in the UK. Which is due to the the UK and USA is the Hague member,China is not.
